What advantages will a student participating in Pennsylvania International Soccer Academy have over players?
Our Pennsylvania International Soccer Academy players train more per week than the average club soccer player does. In fact, our players dedicate 6 hours to intense technical training, as well as two hours working with their personal strength and conditioning coach. This intense individual training combined with Mercyhurst Prep’s academic environment prepares any student-athlete for the rigors of college.
How often does the Soccer Academy train?
The Pennsylvania International Soccer Academy players train five days a week every week. Technical training takes place three days per week, while strength and conditioning training takes place twice weekly. This is in addition to the player’s club team training, which typically takes place twice per week.

Where do your players train?
Pennsylvania International Soccer Academy players primarily train on the campus of the Pennsylvania International Academy’s four well-maintained grass playing fields. We additionally train indoors at the Erie Bank Sports Park’s Soccer Dome. Our strength and conditioning training takes place at the Erie Sports Now Fitness Center. We additionally utilize other playing fields within the city of Erie as needed.
